know it is release into freedom I am discovering

offering no resistance

never have I aspired life
to the guise of a shambling decrepit
you think me delusional
refuse the statement as some manifest chaos

Withdraw !

Remove thyself from my presence in swift haste
there dwells no tolerance for thee
at such a sacred moment
that you would steal my just reward
is insufferable

Even at this final threshold I denounce
that which you profess as enlightenment
for I know it only as sin to prolong a flesh unworthy
a tool for which darkness would seek to encompass the world
such wretchedness delves no revelation of greater purpose

So my last strength I cast as shield
the dying embers of the power I once wielded
a barrier to ground me whole
and at my rest of breath
this body shall exist no more in this plane
lest you should attempt your black magics
upon such blessed inspiration

Touch it at your peril
and feel disintegration twitching through your fingertips
till nothing but dust will remain
a creature like thyself deserves nothing less
than a sentence of ashen demise ....
