Falling Off the Mountain Top
I'm up, sitting on a mountain top
Feeling the breeze, I hope it never stops.
I can't decide if it's worth the fall,
but someday I'll learn to stand tall.
He's the boy I wish I could see
like a shepard and I'll be the sheep.
Next I'll learn to not let it pass.
As soon as I know, I'll be falling fast.
*Chorus*
Take my hand and pull me along.
Keep me up till the morning dawn.
I'll be needing you by my side.
So please, please keep the stride.
I'm a falling star and your the wish
A lonesome prayer, a banked fish.
Why can't I see I'll never win,
But I'll continue to try, no I won't give in.
Silent nights with warm dew drops
Keeps me sane on this mountain top.
I'm falling fast and I can't slow down
I'll leave this place, that's a promis found.
Send me on to the morning light
Spread those wings and take flight.
*Chorus*
This is the end to this sad tale
Don't forget this mournful bale.
I know one day I'll find my path
Until that time I can't look back.
Watch my flame burn through the night
Use that gift as a guiding light.
Find my end to this tragic woe
I'm sure you'll find you can't let go.
*Chorus*
