To End The End

The sun rises as it rises every morning in the east,
Then sets & goes to sleep in the evenings of the west,
Day after day, ever so monotonous as this life gets.

Then the day comes when everything changes,
When the sun neither sets nor rises,
And time stands still for what seems like ages.

The mass of people riot & crowd in madness and panic,
As the world of sin begins to end;
The beginning of the end begins.

Yet in the end there is always hope,
Just one who can bring an end to the end,
Like it never began, There is but one who can.

But that simple ending the end it is not,
As blood drips off the battle axe of the mon -ster,
The beast from the deep dark depths of the deep,
And the dogs of hell yelp at the gates, even as we speak.

As the savior goes forth to complete the quest,
His duty to life itself, to save the lives of the rest,
fiends of no end, where no one dares go, straight into the abyss,
He struggles on, through the deep, to the Lord of Darkness.

The sun rises as the creature falls,
Also the demise of the One Who Shall Save Us All,
Sacrifice one for the sake of many,
And the day to day life returns to monotony.
