Battle scars

My body was the battlefield that bore the scars of life,
stretch marks, bruises, aches and pains, even taken to the knife.
Battle scars will fade, but never go away, the pain it took to make
those scars, lives with me every day.
The kids are growing fast and will be gone before I blink,
The laughs, the tears and family fights will be the best memories
I think.
When they are gone, their praises I will continue to sing,
They are my life, my love, my happiness,
They are.......my everything.

A little poem I wrote to show that some battle scars are worth it.

Battle scars

Yes. Some battle scars are indeed worth it. Especially if you suffer them for your loved ones. Pure sacrifice. Powerful piece.

Mike

thank you. I hate my battle

thank you. I hate my battle scars but they are worth it.

Wow i love this. Every mark

Wow i love this. Every mark on our body tells a story of life and life in itself is a lesson. Therefore we should treasure every scratch and bruise.

Thanks for the comment on my poem.
