“We don’t receive wisdom; we must discover it for ourselves after a journey that no one can take for us or spare us.”
Lions and ladies
His eyes glazed, his soul exposed, he felt transparent, naked as we come. Blue moon, his walls had been hauled down by the weary beauty standing in front of him. His heart had been turned to ash, hoping she would once again ignite it.
He stood with her; surrounded by a place he thought held hope. Language on her face, the volatile sea was, once again, approaching. The prayer inside him was not going to be answered. She had spun a web for him, filled with confused emotion. Sweat on skin, it was a suicidal dream. She stood, holding his soul in her graceful hands.
Entwining Questions... what more than sorry can I be, what more does she want from me? The phase of sunrise approached. Her hands became cold; his molten eyes began to blaze with a stream. The words came swift, but the ache would last. The euphemisms like a night train still sped, and then she turned. The last gaze stunned the soul. The misleading silence in-between dreams. Invisible death, he were no miracle and she were no saint
Sleeping doves… he felt empty… The dancing days were over … the phenomenon known as love … she was heaven and he was left in hell… Their love had faded, welcome to the cruel world. entwining...Which part of the morning yearnings hurt the most? Is it when your eyes burn from unshed tears? Or is it the stage of trying to let yourself believe they where nothing? What really matters now? Was he ever in love? What is love? A definition of the happiest you have ever felt? But how do you know that was love until its past?
Separated but strung together, feelings rule your life. Nothing unusual, nothing strange, the same old scenario, the same old pain. Distraught but relieved, he could no longer know the hell she loved. He could no longer play kindness as a card game. Sometimes it is hard to tell if the light in front of your eyes is full of hope or doom. Eventually everyone gathers around the storm. But what you receive from this is the key to understanding. Knowing that when you find your angel she will glimmer in times of darkness and her love will be the warmest place the sun ever shines.
“Floating like a cannonball, love taught me to cry. Courage taught me to be shy. Facing forward, walking slowly. Hoping to receive my life, and having it feel right “
