Child, I Will Comfort Thee

Sleep

Rest your eyes
A little more...

Drift to the shore
There’ll be meaning
Tomorrow.

Dream

Dream of galaxies
Serene...

Know the new day
Will remove all sorrow.

Interesting

I found this interesting because theirs so much room for interpretation. I wont even attempt to express my view just in case i get it all wrong. Some how this poem gave me a sort of calm in the end.... thank you, i enjoyed reading it

Debs
I believe that in our ultimate sleep we all will find a shore of calmness and serenity, a dream that never ends, a land where happiness is found.

Many Thanks..

To you all for your kind comments on this one. I wasnt really sure where i was going on this piece, other than the love a mother or father would give to comfort their child. I tryed to capture the sense of calm within this write and reassurance that 'tommorrow' would bring a better day.

I really appreciate your thoughts on this, as it was very open to interpretation, and we all find different things in other's writing.
