If Ever The Devil
If ever the Devil
You do, or you don’t
The Devil you know
Is the Devil who won’t;
Wait around for a smile
And a wink of the eye
A lasting confession
Or sweet lullaby.
For ‘The Devil’ is green
And considerably mean.
He feasts on pineapples
And gunk from the stream.
He lives deep in bog
On the head of a frog
Catching all the young children
With witcherty logs!

The devil
Lives deep in the bog, on the head of a frog, does he? Well, I remember a time when frogs fell from the sky. But then again I was drinking the devil's brew, and eating frog stew, and I was a little high. ha! ha!
Good poem, Scareysquirel. I liked this poem a lot.
Many Thanks
TJ for your comments. Yes the frog has reappeared yet again! Personally i like frog stew, yum yum!

Is a "witcherty log" like a Carvel "ice cream log" ? I knew that
Mr. Carvel had the power to bewitch children hahahahaha
