Marry A Word

Wouldn’t it be
So completely absurd..

To marry a word?

Marry a word.

Alas not a lover
A beau or a bird.

I’ll marry a word

Marry a word!

Then down on one knee
Shall the shell then propose.

Swiftly followed by vowels
Then off, off shall we go!

To the moon which I love
And the heavens above.

Live content in a tent
Lined with magic cement.

So in love
So at one
So at peace
So together

The word that I choose
Is ‘forever’.

Marry a Word

You transcend the usual poetic genre by being a surprising thinker.

Nice piece here.

Thankyou

Thanks again Mark.
It was good to let my imagination go, and think in literal terms on this one.
