Sandbanks Of Deceit

Travelling down
The sandbanks
Of deciet
With a
Swish swish swoosh
I find my

Feet
Amongst the reef
And i am
Armoured
With a
Sword Fish
To cut through
The many lies
That fly
Around me.

Sand Banks of Deceit

I found this quite a powerful piece, for me it conjours up an image of being badly let down by somebody close, and then finding inner strength to stand strong against that situation. A fight that you never wanted. Maybe I have it wrong, there is a lot of poetry I read that I just don't get at all!! Good piece, like your style of writing,
Dave

Spot On!

Dave. It is not very often that somebody truely understands the interpretation of a piece. That is exactly what I was expressing here.

Many thanks

Smashing!

I really like where you went with this, Scareysquirel. You have a unique way of looking at things...or, perhaps, just a unique way of expressing yourself. Either way, damn good write!

Many Thanks

TJ, for your kind words.
