The Bluebells Pray
The roses
Pinch the posies
As they chatter on the lawn.
The lilies
Turn all silly
As they beckon forth the dawn.
...And whilst the starlings
Are the darlings
Of this customary play.
I’m simply lazing
With the daisies
As I watch the bluebells pray.
