The Bluebottle (A Collection Of Corpse Poetry)
I lay lifelessly upon a cold clinical
Slab of death...
Tossed carelessly into cubical
Emptiness awaits me.
I am greeted by one most
Agreeable character;
‘The Bluebottle’
Has landed upon my nose.
No breathe have I in death,
But feel of her wings
Crazily flapping around my filtrum.
She lays an egg or three
In those frozen crevices...
Marked dank air provides little life
For new arrival.
One huge bulging eye detects
Something more sinister
And an eerie glare befalls her pupil.
Little time is left to ponder
Danger or regret;
As she inhales one last... finite... respiration.
A dispersion of vomit
Freely admits upon old swollen veins.
Her body slows...
Rests rigidly with me...

Yuck!!!
Just popped home for a quick sandwich, and thought I would have a quick read, and this was the first one, don't feel hungry now lol, noticed two others, think I will leave them for later, when my stomach feels better.

I have just eaten a Welsh cake with currants in at least I think they were currants not so sure now ,one did look like it had wings lol , I dont want them to leave me on a slab now they can put me in a freezer, another good imaginary poem Deb`s at least it may help me diet now lol from Willow.
It's When..
Its when i see the cake move on its own that i begin to panic! LoL!
Don't worry Willow, your not going anywhere for a long long while...there's far too many sausages to eat...recipie's to make...and faires to find! :.)
