The Outing
Off on a jolly
With Millie and Molly
Them pair of terrible twins.
Oh I despair
Of the cunning and flare
As we head toward the inn.
For Millie is tired and as sick as a dog’
She can’t possibly help
With the fire or the log’
And Mollie it seems
Has been having ‘ill dreams’
She can’t possibly rest
In her own little nest.
More chocolate is levered
To temper the fever
More ice-cream is sundered
To satiate hunger
I’m tired on my knees
And I’m begging them please!
Can we not...
Just
Go
Back
Home!!

Brilliant Debs
a brilliant poem debs reflecting on a kids outing yes they can be tiring and cost a fortune to keep quiet lol. I have my grandies coming tomorrow and I know I will be shattered at the end of the day, but fun having them wouldn`t be without them, and at least I can hand them back at the end of the day lol from Willow
Thankyou
Thanks Willow! One of my sisters has twins, and they're very demanding as one would expect!
But incredible fun to be around.
DEbs
ah, the old sugar fix!
I remember those days well! Even one child can seem like a dozen on a bad day! Luckily, there are more good days than bad. Thanks for a charming, funny poem to start a rainy day!

Many Thanks
Thankyou Joyce, indeed they can. I spent yesterday with my niece and nephew who had me doing 'Areoplanes' for most of the afternoon! Great way to keep fit though!
