Liberation, what a beautiful feeling

Words spoken without voice
The world didn't want to hear it
So he had no other choice
Grabbing a pen and pad, began to write
It all just flowed out
Raw emotions held deep inside
Spilling out through the black ink
Tears crawling down his face
Forming a stream rolling towards his chin
Waterfalling onto his writing
But that doesn't stop him
He needs to let it out
Hurt cannot stay hidden
Creeping out from the shadows
With caution pokes out its head
Making sure the coast is clear
Before finally revealing itself
Words piling up like autumn leaves
Leaving the branches of fear and pain bare
Liberation, what a beautiful feeling
