I've been searching for someone
Someone who is near and dear to me
They taught me the proper way to be
Showed me I can accomplish anything
Whatever I wanted, I could have
Without this person I feel sad

This person gave me the strength
To be the person that I am
Taught me not to give a damn
About what others thought
And their opinions about me
Self respect is the only thing I need

Functioning with out this person is impossible
They control my mind, body, and soul
Making me feel completely whole
So I will continue to search the whole earth
And even go as far as the depths of hell
In the hopes that I will find myself
