A New Day

You asked me to try and be happy,
To smile and laugh,
So I did politely,

Stop crying, you murmured every night,
Wiping my tears away,
You always held me so tight,

Don't break down as I fell,
Picking me up from my knees,
The darkness always prominent, you always could tell,

Watching me from a distance,
Really talking to me,
Was what i needed really,

When you rushed in that night,
Out of breath saying your sorry,
But you need me desperately,

When you crashed onto my lips,
Mumbling on them you would never give up on me,
Made me believe,

When you held my hand,
Touching my fingers as other women walked by,
Made me more happy then when you made me cry,

That morning when you wouldn't get off of me,
Looking into my eyes and smiling,
Was the best thing that ever happened to me,

As I tried to pick a fight with you,
Wanting to test how long you would stay,
You walked over and touched my lips whispering, you weren't going away,

When I locked myself in the bathroom,
Cutting my flesh with blades,
You broke down the door, promising you'd take away the pain,

When we first met,
And I warned you I was broken,
You smiled, nodded, and called the next day,

Last Tuesday when we got caught in the rain,
My eyeliner and mascara running down my face,
You stopped and grabbed me kissing, while whispering you complete me.

Beautiful write full of emotions

You are a good writer.
Must appreciate you short and powerful write.
Congrats.

Simple...

this was nothing short of incredible
beyond it even.
full of beauty and hope
unlike the others before it,
this opens to the simple great grand illusion of life.
A salvation. A great new day indeed.
For all it's worth...
