Friendship, partnership and relationship
I treasure this bond, one that we should keep
Six years of journeying with you, my friends
Surely you didn’t think this is the day it ends

There are many expressions in the English lexis
Words like thank you, miss you, fond farewell kisses
But spoken words are heard and easily forgotten
They slip away eternally irrelevant

So today forgive me if I may so choose
My speech is simple, sufficient to amuse
It isn’t embellished neither fit for a king
It’s message is heartfelt, the best I can bring

To the Management and staff of Pasir Gudang
My sincere thanks to you holds no bounds
Thank you for teaching me and helping me grow
Although at times I must have been slow

Your patience and grooming have made today possible
I hope I have not been of too much trouble
My sincerest apologies for my mistakes and offences
My genuine gratitude for your acceptance and forgiveness

We’ve shared many lunch breaks, parties like this too
This time it’s me leaving, so the sayings are true
Life is full of surprises, a box of chocolates in hand
Nothing lasts forever, all good things simply end

Thank you Mr Ong for your leadership by example
Thanks Mr Jawahar for your instructions when I stumble
To the C&I team, my deepest, warmest appreciation
To the Electrical guys, it was great collaboration

I’m sad to say I’m moving on to join the KL ladies
You are shining stars in YTL and it’s you I’ll definitely miss
