love never forgotten

As I gazed upon the most beautiful sight, With the stars and moon shining bright, I say to myself “what a marvelous night.”
With my drink in one hand and my girl in the other, I smile at my date as I asked for another.
The evening was lovely, but the people were loud I looked at Vanessa and said “Let’s skip this crowd.”
I held her hand as we walked up the beach, Her innermost desire was within my reach.
I held her in my arms as I looked at the ocean, With my heart racing with the depth of emotion.
In the years we’ve been together, we have shared much, A laugh…a tear, a loving touch.
Never have I felt so loved, so good,
We kissed with a passion as they played “I’m so hood!”
I tell her I love her, I tell her I need her.
She tells me she loves me, and there’s no one sweeter.
We race to the house, we share another kiss, The evening was filled with everlasting bliss.
Her eyes sparkled as I caressed her face, The balcony view, the moon bright and blue, I thought of no better place.
Her smile was cute, her look bright as day, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My life with her was perfect, it was wonderful, The way she laughed, her endless glee, was colorful.
Never will I love a woman as I loved her, She completed me, she loved me, And she always brightened my darkest day.
I just wished I never went away.

Great poem

I enjoyed reading it.
