As I wander through the wilderness
Without any hope of gain
My fingers fill with freezing ness as my stomach starts to pain.
Why can’t you find me? Do you realize Im gone?
I sit here waiting and doubting you till it nearly reaches dawn.
I dare not close my eyes as I fear I’ll never wake
Im longing for you through my cries, but it’s my life that’s at stake.
I shiver from my head right down to my feet
Im wishes and im hoping that for one last time we'll meet.
My inside is ice cold my breaths become intense,
Im famished nearly half to death and my pain is quite immense

I look up high and see a light and realize im dying
My head gets light with anxiety as I suddenly start flying
Im floating through the trees but the pain hasn’t gone away
Oh won’t you find me please, today might be my day.

My dearest darling child, my sweet heart where are you?
Im searching for you everywhere where have you disappeared to?
Don’t fret my little desperate child, don’t worry, you'll be found,
I run up to that lonely tree and find you on the ground
I flash my strong bright torch and your eyes seem new to light
I carry you off through the trees and you seem oblivious to my help
