A slow beat coming from his heart,
with each thought of her it quickens,
uncontrolably red he sits there,
her voice comes to mind.
"Do as you wish just forgive me and forget me."
A shout came from him!
"NO! I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!"
Fighting back tears he whispered.
"But I will always forgive you."
He stared at the dagger in his hand
"I forgave you for everything, I remember you too"
He raised the dagger over his head
"But now I am alone, never again to love,
never again to live"
He shoved the dagger deep into his heart,
His last living words were recited,
"Forgive me always and forget me not,
but from now on I will be removed from thought,
tonight is the night I die,
and I will say,
I love you,
one last time"
His breath ended and so did the beat,
no longer to love,
no longer to live.
