morality

For morals to become afoot in a devoloping mind, words are contrived into concepts harbouring a great deal of meaning
highly relevent to to the congenital displays of later devolopment. Without the triumphant meanings these morals contain
along with the constituent words constructing their exsitence, the world would be a raging frenzy, filled with insolence and
an unmannerly regard for the priceless values of humanity shared today. Yet a signifigant portion of humanity lacking the moral
fibre needed to conciliate society in a healthy manner, continues to ambulate at a burgeoning rate. The people who disregard these
morals do not lose them; but simply subsume there meanings, and incorporate them into a different construal defined according to the
suitability these new found morals absorb. If words are constructive of reality, appropriately they can be destructive of reality. The emotional
weight certain words incorporate are absorbed into the mind as soon as a meaning becomes conceived, the definitions of these lode bearing words revive the applicable emotion formulating the style inwhich one behaves. So the substantive effect words have on our reality, show me that these frisky little entiities assemble the way we construct our reality. So instead of living off pure instinct we have the capacity to define reality based on our individual meaning of it, compose the guidelines for appropriate behaviour, and ultimitlely shape the moral minded people we become. People who stray from societys norm are straying from the structure they long to gain. Laws keep people on moral leeshes, devients break free in search of an imagined loss of free will. The moral society we live in supersedes the evil that same society is capable of. Modern humans have a disturbing ability to justify immorality by reorganizing existing morals, redefining their meanings into personal depictions based on the behaviour they desire. The more thought entrenched into the new beleif, the more it becomes an aspect of their behaviour. Our thoughts are structured in compliance to what feels right. What feels right turns into an action, which breeds a behaviour, which then illuminates a trait. We verbally illustrate the world we want to live in, give meaning to our exsitence by convening what we know into concepts that assemble our behaviour. When uncomforting thoughts enter the mind, a number of behaviours are self devoloped in order to mitigate the misallianced thoughts . But using behaviour to ameliorate these obstrepeous thoughts dosn't make them go away, at best our thoughts are temporarily mislayed while the behaviour is being preformed. Thoughts dont become extinct, they become subsumed and refurbished, seeking consanance whichever way they know how.

[Based purely off observation and a personal interest in words, definitions, and the impact they have on constructing reality, apologies for those who searched through this article and dozed off!! definitely not poetry but thoughts that may appease to some]

interesting

So from what you say words justify morals or define morals? I am of the belief that instincts aren't bad and contribute quite a bit to morality. Like walking into a dark alley, instincts will tell you not a good idea but words may supersede the instincts. raskin

agreed upon

Thank you for your comment raskin. Your reply is appreciable and yes, instincts are definitely not bad and are a vital part of our minds schema.
This surmise is based on the notion that the semantics of our seemingly endless lexicon or ''language system'' allows us the capacity to define the concept of our morality based on our individual meaning of it. A life that is driven purely off instinct is a life absent of concepts, which is in turn a life absent of metaphor or abstract thought which, in my eyes makes us distinctively human. So in summary, words define, or, better yet concepts [a string of words tied together to construct concepts] allow us to define and thus allows us to justify our representations of morality.

Thank you again, please feel free to to speak in any manner your thoughts and ideas on this issue further, for this issue deserves many trains of thought and is a highly suggestible topic.

instincts

Words define concepts, words define what is felt, words define the metaphor which describes a feeling or situation that is uncommon or difficult to phrase conventionally. I see instincts as a part of morality. If a person has been trained to trust their instincts they become another tool of morality. raskin

surely

Instincts serve as survival tools from an evolutionary standpoint. Concepts serve as abstract ideas from a cognitive standpoint. Morality to me is a concept;
this statement is emperical simply because mankind uses morals within a variety of distinctions. Concepts shape our thoughts, instincts fufill primary processes such as libido, hunger, etc. Concepts are the residual chains of abstract thought that governs society the way it is today. Instincts are the elementary processes that propel abstract thought and conceptualizing to take center stage. Instincts are an aspect of morality that initiates absrtact thought to give those instincts more meaning. Trusting instincts in isolation would be similar to emotional reasoning which dosn't always produce conclusive results. Our extensive lexicon contributes to the use of such convoluted thought, that of which distinguishes us from monkeys and the like. A word without meaning is like a instinct without feeling. There is a common logic that all of these phenomona share innate properties who knows.

interesting

Yes, instincts are elemental and basic. Instincts enhance abstract thought, instincts absorb sensory information in a smooth unencumbered way. Instincts are part of the fabric of logic and also of morality. Instincts are survival tools that is true, but in civilised society are used to decide whether to trust someone or not, it is because of the sensory input that instincts provide whether or not we trust or not. There are lot's of examples if you stop and think about it, which can be fun to think of. I am of the belief that good instincts enhance logic. I have fun with this stuff. raskin
