What I wouldn't give to spend just one day with you
I know it is impossible, but I still wish for it to be true.
What I wouldn't give to share a laugh,
these miles between us feel more like wrath.
What I wouldn't give to gaze into your eyes
and fell you stare back...It would pale even the sunrise.
What I wouldn't give to hold you close to me
this distance feels like treachery.
What I wouldn't give to be able to lay with you
on that perfect day, I am in love with you.

A strong passage(poem), yet (pardon my frankness), I'm a bit confussed
on your title "What i wouldn't give...."
When it comes to love, nothing is impossible.
What i would not give, to me is what i would not sacrifice.
I know there is no room for sensitivity,but I do take serious what's being conveyed.
Unless that is your point.

By "What I wouldn't give" to me means that there is nothing I would not give, plain and simple. I would make what ever sacrifice it took down to the deepest depths of my soul I would pour myself into commitment with nothing asked in return expect reciprocation.
