Ocean's Breath

Lightly, feather touch kissing skin
Exhaling your soul's taste, soul's life
breezing ever onward
Ephemeral wings brush prickled flesh
taut with yearning
I reach toward your source, indecisive in my search
Is it the snowflake drifting from your eyes to melt on the tongue,
the air of your body I desire to clasp, clutch, bury inside my heart?
Perhaps the intellect you cultivate or the metallic tang of your blood
draws me into you
Dormant beast so recently freed from captivity
hungrily clawing, demanding satiation
Memories yet to manifest crowd for attention
attempt to dislodge those the past has solidified
whilst I savor them all
Recalling the flavor of your smile,
hearing the melody of your being,
imagining the color of your prayers.
Float contentedly upon your tresses' waves.

Very sensual

What you think about, you bring about.

I really liked this. Good read, I found it to be very sensual, the words are caressing the mind like a lover.

Sincerely,
Debborah

That Would Be Cool

If I could bring this about again merely by a thought then I would indeed be a very happy man. Thank you for you comment, Debborah.

Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too.

indeed, sensual...
I wish I was brave (or experienced) enough to write something like that...

Bravery

Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you liked it. Your bravery shows in the fact that you will actually put your writing out for others to peruse, strip, and critique. As for experience...just keep on keepin' on. ;-)

You can meet God in the church of your choice
You can meet Woody Guthrie in Brooklyn State Hospital
You know, it's only my opinion, I may be right or wrong
But you can find both in the Grand Canyon at sundown

I plan to keep on!

and thanx for the words of encouragement... this is just my first day here! maybe i'll manage more tomorrow...

Question

Since this poem seems to be getting read a fair amount...can anyone who knows this site tell me why "How Dare You" has been flagged and what that means, precisely?
