Do I give it up?
Or Wait it out?
Ignored, and thrown to the dogs
My heart aches for the love
That you once showed,
But now?
I’ve lost my best friend
Who knows when this will end
Waiting causes pain
But maybe, just maybe I’ll have you back
Waiting is hopeful

Giving up?
Well that’s pain too
But I’d move on
Giving up leaves me room to explore
To find someone new

But I can’t,
I won’t leave you here
I’ll wait for you to come back
I’ll wait it out.
