We dance
The dance of intrigue
The dance of not knowing
Slowly
We dance
Swaying to the rhythm of our beating hearts
Fidelity won’t keep us apart
As we sway
Carefully moving
Around cravings and desires
Careful not to step too far out of bounds
Careful not to step into the fire
Our heartbeats keep time
The rhythm of us-sublime
We dance
Our tongues touch
They too dance
They know our beat, our groove, our song
They know how to move between right and wrong
Around our inhibitions they slowly dance
We dance
Just us
There is no injustice in our lust
No distrust in our thrust
Just us-dancing close to the edge
The dance of lovers
Careful not to fall
Cause we can not fly-for we are not free
Not now, not you, not me
So instead
We dance
The dance of infidelity
