Perfect Butterfly

Perfect Butterfly

You are the perfect butterfly
Soaring graciously in the sky
A rare beauty, you are
Forcing me to look up
And marvel at God’s glorious creation
I watched the spectacular metamorphosis
From your caterpillar state
To where you are now-
Grown
Beautiful
Sexy
Confident
Perfect- just as you were intended to be
Perfect
In every sense of the word
Your wings
Gorgeous and delicate
Displaying the vibrant colors of life
-colors of love
-colors of hope
You uplift me.
You are perfect
Too precious to be contained
So I put away my net
Capturing you would be my deepest regret
As you land softly on my shoulder
Sweet gentle kiss
I hear the voice of the Beholder
Reminding me that you are His
Perfect Butterfly

Soaring not souring:

oldaspirationsneverdie...7

This is a beautiful and noble poem and it contains so much knowledge!
Which is the reason I must bring to your attention that "Souring" first
word in the third line of your poem, I'm sure you intended to write
Soaring! It is an eye soar in a poem that is so aesthetically perfect!

Thank you

....darn 'spell check'... but I guess I did spell souring right....lol.. Thank you for the beautiful comments and I will make the change...
