Trying to find my soul
At my own pace
Seems to be going to slow
But that ain’t the case
It only happens once in a lifetime
I want to make it last
Or it will fly by fast and just pass
Always trying to achieve
What others don’t believe
So in the event of my demise
My soul could rise to paradise
Hoping I could see the sunshine one day
So I pray everyday
Want to open the gates
Can’t wait for my own salvation
Cuz I may never see that place
So for my own sake
I try to live my life right
But everything around me wrong
This ain’t a another sad song
Just a voice from the strong
