Today an Angel stopped by!
She left a smile upon my face
A glow in my heart!

She brought old memories
Of days not long ago!
She left footprints in my heart!

I heard the call for supper!
My mothers, tender voice!
It made me rejoice with glee!

The soft laugh from days gone by
A chuckle from the heart!
Her tender touch, touching my heart!

She reached out her hand
To clutch, my very soul!
She wiped away all the tears!

I know someday I'll see her
Upon the Streets of Gold!
Next to Jesus, the Savoir of my soul!

Today, I smile from the heart
For I got to see -
A Special Angel, just for me!
