TJ. I sometimes think were not able to see cleary when were involved in life's experiences, especially matters of the heart. But after the event we gain a clearer insight into what they were all about. I like how this piece describes loss, but also goes on to end on an upbeat note.
The opening stanza is quite powerful also, and i think you've written this piece really well.
