Writer's Block
Trying to write a poem
That I'm hoping
Will re-open
The door of creativity
That simply seems to be
Closed to me.
Hoping to write
Something that might
Seem like poetry,
And get me past
The writer's block
That seems to have
Taken hold of me.
But where do I begin?
My thoughts are turning,
My stomach is churning
As I begin to let new energy in.
But what words do I choose,
Or choose to remove,
As I begin the process of writing
All over again?

we all get this from time to time.I know how you feel ,as I am going through the same thing, I have no Idea what I am going to write next.they say to write about anything.maybe start a line and go from there ,
last time I got it I looked out the window at my garden shed and wrote about that. anyway at least you wrote this one tj so it`s a start.dont know what I am going to write good poem you expressed your feelings very well.

I Agree With Willow
On this, TJ. 'Writers block' happens to us all at one stage or another. I have times when ive gone for days, weeks, and even months without writing. I guess inspiration just finds us at different times. One thing i do find though, is that whenever i try to force a write, it comes out wrong. I believe you will find inspiration, and that it will come to you as a very natural process.
Reading other's work also helps me and inspires me.

yes it does come back ,I have had this a few times and like TJ have got it again right now ,so I have decided to read others , for a couple of days and see what happens , thanks Deb`s I am sure we will get over it given time from Willow

Going through a difficult time right now with my writing, but I've been through it before. Anyone who writes has gone through these times, and has trudged through that 'dark tunnel,' as I call it, only to crawl through to the otherside. Thanks a million to both of you for your support- TJ
Writers block?
I have a challege for you. Find one little small thing in your house , Doesnt matter what, just find something that makes you go huh? and write about , funny, crazy what ever . try it you might have fun??? If that doesnt work go outside and look around, plenty to write about out there! lol, See ya, Luckygrinn

tj you musn`t think like that your poetry is good ,so keep on writing it is something we all have to contend with I am going through writer`s block also .I know how you feel, but keep going it will all come back you have done well so far with just the writer`s block poem,we all can relate to that well done tj from willow.
