FOREVER

Like a little chick swooped up by a eagle from her nest
She’s torn away from her home, taken against her will
She gives out a little shrill
Chills and sweat run down her back
Like the water gushing down from Niagara Falls.
As she wonders-
Is this guy mentally ill?
Is he going to kill her with a pill full of poison?
Or is he going to put a gun to her head-
And ask for a million dollar bill in return for her life?

Like a musical note taken out of its song,
She’s torn away from her home, taken against her will,
She’s crying a river
Cause the guy wants to cut her up and sell her liver
She wonders again-
Is he really serious?
Why aren’t her parents trying to find her?
Why aren’t they paying for her ransom fee?
Or are they secretly devising a plot,
So that they can quickly take her out of this rot?

Like a tonsil taken out of its throat,
She’s torn away from her home, taken against her will,
She’s too tired to feel anything now,
She’s losing conscience; her breaths are slow and measured
As she takes her first and last breaths,
She wonders for the final time-
Will her body get back to her parents?
Will her parents cry at her funeral or just hold the pain inside them?
Will the guy, who kidnapped her kidnap others,
Or will he be soon caught after, and go to jail?

As the questions flood her mind like a hurricane,
Just like that,
A little girl is torn away from the world….

..FOREVER
