I’ll lose weight
But not at a fast rate
Cause this year, I’m going to take things slow
I’ll diet
But I won’t be anorexic
Cause I’ll exercise and eat right
But I won’t go overbroad

I’ll be more self-conscious
But not to a crazy self-demeaning limit
Cause this year, I’m just going to dress better, straighten my hair and whiten my teeth
I’ll lose weight, buy more clothes, wake up early and brush my teeth everyday
But I won’t forget about my studies
Cause I’ll balance things out
But I won’t be too specific

I’ll be more me, less you and everybody else
Cause quite frankly I don’t quite agree, with being just another common pea..
I’m sick of trying to guarantee to you that,
I’ll make myself as thin as a skinny tree and as beautiful as the sky
Cause that’s never going to happen
But self-beauty always gonna be right here with me

This year, my love for me comes before you
And I realize, I can’t always be what everyone wishes to see
So sorry but boo hoo
