Remind Me
December 28th 2007
Remind me of why I chose to even love you
Give me enough embarrassment, grief and anxiety to sue
Remind me why when you’re nearby
I can hardly see or notice anything around except for you
Remind me why you make me blush
Making my heart beat out into a garden so lush
Remind me why I even bother to talk to you online
Cause in real life, we don’t even converse, let alone do some wine and dine
Remind me why you talk to so many girls like you do to me
I thought I was your treasure and you were the key
Remind me why you stare so hard sometimes,
Don’t give me a hard time, we’re over aren’t we? So don’t make me feel so sublime
Remind me why I daydream about you and smile…Despite the times you made me frown
You’re imprinted onto my head…like a queen with her crown
Remind me why out of all guys who had to break my heart...
It had to be you
Remind me why I care about you enough, to
Write a stupid love poem to show you the things I feel and do
Something you won’t ever understand.

flash's of reality

your poem is so sad, but the reality of it all , you must stop picking at the cut if you want the healing to begin and the wound to heal. it is all about being able to see our flash's of reality
somewhere between then and when is here
the volley of pain and anger
the interlude of lust and desire
amongst our splicing of warped time and space
are flash’s of reality
your ideas are not my ideas
your pain not mine
illusions and interpretation of how we acted
none of it right none of it wrong
it all depends on what side of the room we were on
but standing face to face and then in our loneliness
we come to know flash’s of reality
I am told religion
is for people who don’t want to go to hell
and spirituality
is for people who don’t want to go back
in the midnight hours we both spend time
enduring our demons
and praying to our God
unfortunately alone thinking of
what was , what is and what might be
do we accept the flash’s of reality
i am standing here today
judge me not on what went on back then
because that was another man
judge me not on what you think
because your heart and mind can deceive you
judge on what I do for you and how I am
right here and now
look and watch and believe
because inevitably you’ll see our
flash’s of reality
thanks for your poem really
