S.O.S. (Save Our Seas)
This was the first co-write I've done and I have to say it was very interesting to do and fun. Thank you to Lycan for the request...and I suggest everyone give it a try!
In fathoms man shall never reach, what secrets do they hide?
There must be beasts too large to rise that have no need for light,
Now we need vessels floating on the rise and fall of waves
Cause otherwise we may join the lost city’s sunken graves.
We know more about the stars and heaven's mysteries,
then we have or can ever learn about the depths of all our seas.
To tell the truth, I'm not sure that I really want to know
of all the strange and unknown things lurking so far below.
If we persist in scouring depths searching for something new
we may lose what we have, if we continue that pursuit,
is it worth losing Humpback Whales, coral reefs and starfish?
Cause truthfully we just can’t know what we might accomplish.
The devastating losses we as mankind seem to bring
pollution, drilling for oil has all our seas ailing,
Man's curious by nature but the same thing killed the cat
So we'd do better stopping now before nature strikes back!
But for every yin there is a yang, bad as well as good
Like protecting the Barrier Reef, as we know we should,
Preserve its pristine state for generations still to come
To keep it the largest marine park underneath the sun.
No matter where you're from, close by or from afar
responsible, we all must be, each man under the stars
we frolic in the waves, go surfing, dive and fish
but preserving what we have left is now my prayerful wish.

FABULOUS
From the Bard of Soul.another class act.im enjoying all your stuff so far.now if you had another catchy tag i may have read of you before this.your too good to be tagged as depressing.and we as dumbbells are used to going by the covers.and the wrapping.hope you dont mind me commenting?
Not at all
I don't mind you commenting at all. It's unfortunate that most people are programmed to see only covers and never fully look at something as a whole...Judging a book by it's cover means too many people miss out on something that is possibly good....their loss as far as I'm concerned. I fully understand what you're getting at and if I was writing for others then a name change might be considered...thanks as always for the comment and taking the time to even read my writes...
Stay well, One love and God bless!
