The Meeting of the Two

As I sit and think back on life's little quirks, and wonder how well I have done....

I get sad at remembering all of the hurt, and the pain that is still yet to come....

Now don't get me wrong there has been some joy too, of this you can always be sure......

but those happy days that I am speaking about, well, they are around no more.

So I sat at my computer console all day just looking to pass the time...........

just waiting for people that seemed to be nice, never knowing what I'd find......

some people came and some people went and still I am lonely as sin.........

and then it had happened a new name was there and a voice that just made me grin.

It was that of an angel so soothing and sweet, one of heavens great treasures...

and brought a new feeling of warmth to my heart, I can only describe as pleasure....

we started to talk and not long after that we were more than just aquainted.....

and I started to think "after all of this time, a love that is finally untainted".

We have laughed and cried, got mad and fought, but never leave the other down....

to make sure at the end of our talking, that neither one has a frown.....

Since that day my life has changed because we are still together.....

and I know in my heart of this simple truth, our love will always last forever.
