The Rapture
Do you know what the Rapture is? Some do and think it's near...
It's when the faithful chosen ones, just up and disappear.
The Lord Himself descends upon, those still unsaved will hide
cowering in shamed disgraced, for they are not His prize.
A mighty shout from heaven's gate, God's trumpet blaring loud
the dead in Christ with blessed few, ascending to the clouds.
Souls breaking free of earthly realms, making their way with haste
immortal bodies glorified, of death they will not taste.
Rewards for service and belief, live by what He commands
Repent, acceptance, prayerful faith, is all that He demands.
What of those that don't believe, will they ever see the day?
Don't panic if not called this time, there's still another way.

I'm With You
I do believe the rapture and that it is near but what i don't understand is when you write "there's still another way".
From what i understand judgement is final.
Those saved will forever enjoy paradise
Those not will be tossed in flames of sulfur and brimstone
And the old world and all it's oceans will no longer exist.
The Word
The bible can be confusing but the other way I speak of is actually right after the Rapture. There is a period of time called the Tribulation (Matt. 24).
If we endure through this while doing what should have been done the first time then we will still have redemption and know His eternal love. Make no mistake about it though...it's going to be even harder the second time around. Some even believe that the Rapture has happened and we are in the period of Tribulation now....which is a scary thought to me.
