The miles that kept us far apart, a friend in thin disguise
If we never took that step, would all this be denied
Your body oh so close to mine reflects the candle's glow
Imagination and resignation, the time til now passed slow
How can one ever not give way to things still yet unseen
enjoy what's left, forget regrets, what never might have been
the future now is ours to live....... to hold it in our hands
