Star light star bright...... the only star i see tonight

She shines thru my window and rests on my bed
her tresses cascading so soft by my head
She's wished on and thought of ...alone she may seem
each nite in my bed ....with me in my dreams
So far from my body .....so close to my mind
alone in the cosmos ..... her planets aligned
Those that adore her and worship her light
those that can see, ....... her purpose and might
She gives not to no man ... her secrets or lust
and dreams that one soul ...... the one she can trust.
Her heart is so tender.... someone hoping to find
her aura, her longing ..... a man of like mind
She's gone with the sun rise .... her light dimmed atlast
maybe a memory .........as loves of the past
With dusk she'll return.... like the moon with it's light
Grant me one wish ....... upon you thru this night
