Blessing and Positive Surprise

I’m backseat all the way
Trailing off into the universe
Of magnificent mystery
And ready to smile
Into the sunlight of a stranger’s eyes
Beaming confirmation
That everything is beautiful and holy
And illuminating rainbow enlightenment.

And lyrical birds are at my heels
All extravagant with color and laughter
And dancing sunrise joy,
And the cold black coffins
Have all turned
A soft sunset pink with no fear or intimidation
In their wake.

And I perceive
Life has a luxurious chance
To bring blessing and positive surprise.
