HELLO GOD

Hello God,it's me again
I've learnt another way
To come into Your courts of praise
Each and every day
I've dropped all the pretending
My shopping list of greed
I aim to come, just as I am
A hopeless case, in need.

It's You I want, not just Your help
I've always missed the truth
I joined Your top insurance scheme
And then stood back, aloof
But now I know it's not enough
To hang around Your gate
I've got to get to know You Lord
Before it is too late.

HELLO GOD

Every life has a measure of sorrow, and sometimes this is what awakens us. Steven Tyler

I like this poem. I understand exactly where this comes from and appreciate the honesty. Good work, good words - thanks.
