I am but a child at heart.
It`s not in my book to grow old,
living with dreams within my mind
needs a lifetime to unfold .

Although the mirror doesnt lie
if I glance I see the truth
but deep inside dont feel my age
and still think I`m a youth.

I need to borrow a few more years
to do all I want to do
another lifetime would be nice
but I`ll only ask for a few.

For I am fit and healthy
just arthritis in my knees
it`s all thats wrong with me,
and when its cold I freeze .

Have taken mirrors off the walls
my age to me concealed
so I can stay young again
and be as young as I can feel.
