I planted some tulips in a tub
and every year`s the same,
the bulbs have all got eaten
for squirrels are to blame

And also with my daffodils
they feasted on those too,
but I have a tip that works
I`m going to share with you.

Grate some bars of perfumed soap
the cheapest you can buy,
sprinkle it around the tub
where you planted , have a try.

I found it in a magazine
the answer to my prayer,
now I plant with confidence
the bulbs are all still there.

I have a weeping willow tree
and squirrels nest within,
ha ha, to squirrels up above
at last my friends I win .

Not yet, my friend you have not won
the cheeky squirrels said,
for when you shade `neath our tree
we shall pee on you instead.
