Our Old Garden Shed

Our shed at the bottom of the garden
has all sorts of treasures inside
To everyone else it`s just rubbish
But a gardener his joy and his pride.

Apart from an old pusher lawn mower
Plus the spade, fork, and rake that he needs
There`s a jumble of pots, a bundle of canes
and boxes piled high to grow seeds.

There`s a tin on the shelf `neath a cobweb
not the foggiest idea what is in it
cant get the lid off it`s fixed real tight
it`s time I think just to bin it .

The garden hose is fairly new
it was strewn all over the floor
took me ages to coil it back up
to place on a hook behind door.

Just as things were looking good
and I had enough of this caper
I finally reached the end of the shed
to find Hubby reading his paper

sounds like my hubby!

yes, willow, I identify with you. A woman's work is never done! But at least you've got a beautiful garden to show for all that work! You must be enjoying spring a lot.

Great work, willow, keep it up!
