Spring Rhapsody
Spring has sprung ,the harp is strung
and my hearts alive once more
when tulips sway to a floral choir
and the birds sing a sweet encore.
Ballerina Daffodils petticoats adorned
dancing to magical whispering leaves
yellow cow slips turn their face to the sun
swaying harmonously to a delicate breeze
New born lambs in folds of green
singing soft bleating tremolos
while the Ewe stands on guard close by
and listens proudly to their Spring solos
A babbling river flows nearby
where a frog croaks deep bass sounds
to an amorous rhythmical mating act
then a magic crescendo they found
The spring has sprung and love awaits
a spiritual guidance and fantasy
young love to flourish and take a bow
in a beautiful spring time Rhapsody.
