The growth of a tree is a wonderful thing
strong trunk to carry the branches frame
growing like arms spreading out so wide
and leaves like hands with sap bearing veins

It stands outside in all kinds of weather
in wind,rain ,snow and burning hot sun
we never think has a tree got feelings,
for all it endures it cant be much fun.

Nature never meant to be taken for granted
does a weeping willow cry out for love,
are we too wrapped up in our own illusions
next time in passing should we give it a hug?.
