New Snow

Breathing in the cold
Hairs standing tall on my skin
Greeting the new snow

Thank you poetmaster, for reviewing once again! =D I am grateful to know I presented an accurate image. Yes, "Brrr...." is correct =]

My Sweet Friend,

This piece was lovely. But left me empty. As much as I enjoyed it, I felt there was so much more here to say.
Haiku is an art form that leaves much untold. You have teased me with just a few words and I am eager to read more!
Perhaps it is just me...but I felt there is more to this poem than a mere line or 2. You are an esquisite poet and the more I read the more I want to read.
Your writing is increadibly romantic...and I hope to see more of you soon!

Oh, tj...=]

I understand completely what you mean about being left feeling empty, but that is what a haiku is! I cannot change that! Perhaps next time I will write a series of haikus to tell a story....That sounds like a marvelous idea =] But this was simply made to be a haiku. I did not mean to tease you! I can't believe you thought this piece was romantic--there was so little to read, and what there was wasn't about love! I suppose if you thought of it metaphorically...
If you want to read a long, romantic poem, read my other recent poem "If the World Should End Tonight." This poem was just a short piece about snow, since I am a child of the winter. I'm sorry if I disappointed you! Thank you for your complimenting words! You are much to kind for your own good!
(No, actually I quite enjoy it! =P)

My dear sweet friend...you never dissapoint me. You are something special! I really enjoyed this piece, but I wish it were longer! You gave just enough detail to wet my appitite for more.
And when I speak of how romantic your poetry is, I'm also speaking of the beauty in your heart...
which comes shinning through with every word you write!
May Peace and Love forever be with you, my friend...and may joy and laughter forever guide you!
Love, TJ
