Pain at your Sight

The sight of you
Makes me cry the tears I don’t want to shed
At the memories we had,
Makes my heart sink down my ribcage
In realization of what we lost,
Makes me want to sigh in relief
For the pain will soon end.

Wonderfully Composed.

I can relate to that in sooo many ways.

A kind thanks

In the words of my thanks is a carefully administered apology, for no one truely wishes for such a pain, but every poet dreams of touching a heartstring, if every so gently.
Thank you for your comment. I'm sad and at the same time somewhat glad you can relate (see above). I appreciate your view!

Truth

You speak much truth, beaches. I apologize if this caused you pain...I cannot help that this poem was sad, but I do not take it back. Poetry is there for those to relate to, and to make connections with life. If this poem had done that for you, I cannot be sorry, but I am sorry for the pain.

Pain can happen in an instant, but the memory lives on forever.

-pain is found everywhere just look around
as long as you get through it you're okay-- i've found-

What have you found?

What is it you have found, beaches? I would like you to continue that small poem in your last message. That would make a good poem.
