The Mortality of Day

Listen to the sound of the dawn
When the dawn is gone, what will you hear?
Look out at the dark of the night
When the night is light, what will you see?

Hear the new dawn as the night bids adieu
And the dark stands still in the morning's dew.
Say hello to the life of the newly born
Say goodbye to the corpse of the old forlorn.

Profound and deeply meaningful. As I like them, sometimes. Judging by the minimal views, I feel it's a piece of excellence many have missed.
