Ragged People(With Link To Vocal)
What do we know about the homeless people?
Sleeping in the cracks that we avoid?
Those who’ve turned away from grace & glory.
We turn our backs we’re so annoyed.
Overcoats over thin pajamas,
Tangled hair and leathered skin,
Bags and bottles are their bangles,
We stop to stare like loveless manikins.
What do we know about the homeless people?
Sleeping in the cracks that we avoid?
Those who’ve turned away from grace & glory.
We turn our backs we’re so annoyed.
Do you know that some have voices,
Souls beautiful but never heard?
Do you know that some made choices
And only got what we deserved?
What do you know about those ragged people?
Sleeping in the cracks that we avoid?
Those who’ve turned away from grace & glory.
We turn our backs we’re so annoyed.
Do you know there are angels among them
Sent to check on you and I?
Watching, waiting for our kindness
To save us from what we all deserve.
