Fruitless seed

My sparkly
studded
leather belt
is gone

It is gone
for all eternity
Infinity
It was here
Now I can't find it
In my room

This sense of loss
Too huge
to bear
It eats me
Chew, chew.

The sparkles
were a universe
My universe
So sparkly
Now lost
Sucked into a void
DESTROYED

My hope is gone
I cry forever.

Fruitless seed

Every life has a measure of sorrow, and sometimes this is what awakens us. Steven Tyler

I really liked this poem except for the 4th stanza. I think it reads better without it. But I love the over the top anguish of a lost belt. It is how a teenager in the depths of self absorption would feel - you caught it perfectly! It make me smile.

Thanks

Much appreciated :)
The entries I've submitted were originally made for the sole amusement of a wonderfully clever girl I've been seeing lately.
On her insistence I posted them online after finding a suitable forum.
Would be nice to find one that was actually frequented by the kind of people I try to parody, though :)
