Requiem of a Dying Dream

Requiem of a dying dream
wishing for one last call.
Fading slowly through the seam
Into the faithful downfall.

Memories of grace and hope
now disapearing into dark.
Wishing for one way to cope.
Like a tree in winter missing its bark.

The dream about my loving peace.
All but gone, into shadow.
Turning to nightmares never the least.
Holding my head, sad and low.

Lack of sunshine of my dreamless mind
I will miss my dreams, i say with a sigh.
Each day accepted, and each night resigned
everyday till the day i die.

well written...some dreams

well written...some dreams are realized, others a destination to which we journey on...and still others...we leave behind...to journey on ...life gets better, my friend....
